A Polish company that offers a wide range of power services is looking for a partner that would develop a prototype of a battery electric energy storage based on a bidirectional converter. The SME seeks partner with well documented expertise at providing solutions concerned with storage and distribution of energy. The ideal form of cooperation should be a commercial agreement with technical assistance for manufacturing of devices in question.


FULL DESCRIPTION

A Warsaw based company provides wide range of stationary power products such as: stationary batteries, battery stand accessories, and measurement systems, as well as complex support in PV –photovoltaic system designing. Technical support includes: developing of technical conception, fulfilling all the formalities, selection of the funding method, developing of the technical project and implementation of the PV system.
Currently the company is looking for a technology that would allow to developed an innovative battery energy storages enabling for a quick charging of electric vehicles (reduction of charging time to 15 minutes, despite the power connection of the 30kW facility).
This would lead to introduction to the market an electrochemical energy storage device that stores electricity, containing a bi-directional electricity converter managed by an intelligent energy management system (a solution based on combining the mechanical values of the system with an interface)
The company is open to any type of solution fulfilling its needs and ready for a commercial agreement with technical assistance.

- Type of partner sought: The fluctuation nature of most renewable energy resources, like wind and solar, makes them unsuitable for standalone operation as the sole source of power.

Therefore a company seek a solution to overcome this problem by using an energy storage device besides the renewable energy resource to compensate for these fluctuations and maintain a smooth and continuous power flow to the load. As the most common and economical energy storage devices in medium-power range are batteries and super-capacitors, a dc-dc converter is always required to allow energy exchange between storage device and the rest of system. Such a converter must have bidirectional power flow capability with flexible control in all operating modes
