Ukrainian University prepares jointly proposal for international project Austria / Ukraine scientific & technological cooperation. The project will develop new alternatives for collaboration between scientists from Ukraine and Austria. The University is looking for partners (universities and research centers) who are interested in collaboration and offer their expertise in technology transfer.
Dynamic changes and intensification of competition in the global market for high-tech products actualize the problems of managing the system of transfer of academic technologies.
Scientists at Ukrainian universities are developing current developments and inventions while spending tens of millions of hryvnias from the state budget. Unfortunately, most of these developments remain unknown to the European and world community and do not bring commercial value to either the state, universities, or authors of the developments. For the most part, Ukrainian inventors do not know how to properly market their research results, and often do not even pursue this goal.
In the practical plane, establishing an efficient technology transfer process requires a reassessment of modern methodological support for the commercialization of intellectual property, as well as identifying research priorities, taking into account long-term trends in scientific and technological development and global demand for innovation.
The implementation of the project involves the exchange of experience in the transfer of academic technologies between the project executors. Analysis of miscalculations in the choice of management methods to activate the university start-up movement and commercialize the results of scientific products. Identifying errors in the application of the concept of innovative marketing. Identifying documents that are also required for business processes in the knowledge triangle (eg, patent agreements, licensing agreements, police university document on commercialization). Creating samples of documents for partner universities, taking into account contributions and expertise from partner country programs and partner countries' needs (late 2022).
The Ukrainian University has the necessary experience of scientific personnel, a highly integrated educational and scientific system and modern equipment for the such research.
The result of the project implementation should be to increase the role of universities in the national Start-up ecosystems of Ukraine and Austria.
