The Dutch SME has a long history of processing various meat types to consumer products. For its baked bacon pieces, the company is looking for (co-)manufacturers for a manufacturing agreement or an outsourcing agreement.
This Dutch family business originally started in 1858 with meat and is now an internationally active company with a wide variety of meat products. It processes meat into consumer ready solutions, such as sliced meat and dry sausages. Their baked bacon pieces can be applied in dishes as salads and breakfast with bacon. The product is baked / fried before packing and is therefore ready to eat.
For the specific application of the baked bacon pieces, the SME is looking for a (co-)manufacturer that can produce the bacon pieces in a more cost efficient way.
The SME is looking for a partner that is able to make the baked bacon pieces. Ideally, the partner can produce and pack the product.
Both outsourcing partners as well as manufacturing partners are possible in this partnership.
In case of a manufacturing agreement, the manufacturer may use the company's recipe in their own factory. In best case, the company will get a packed product, ready for delivery to retailers. An intermediate solution with e.g. bulk packaging is a possibility as well.
Or, in case of an outsourcing agreement, the company buys the product from an outsourcing partner that uses their own recipe (and factory) to deliver the product.
Total volume of the product is approximately 10.000 kg per year.
In both types of collaboration, it creates a great opportunity for any manufacturer to get a long term business agreement.
