A French SME designing and manufacturing chairs, is looking for wood working manufacturer of backrests, seats and shells in beech plywood. The company is looking for a long-term subcontracting partner in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania or Ukraine.
A French company is producing its own design furniture for libraries and public sector spaces, made from metal, wood and plastic in respect of an environmental and sustainable development approach.
The subcontracting partner should be able to manufacture backrests, seats and shells for chairs from beech plywood in the dimensions, shapes and thicknesses corresponding to the technical specifications (see attachment). These wooden parts are then intended to be assembled in France on chairs before being shipped to end customers.
The company should also be able to apply a water-based varnish on the backrests, seats and shells.
The French SME needs a manufacturing partner for wooden parts under a subcontracting agreement. The company is offering a long term relationship to partner preferably based in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania or Ukraine. The French SME is already accustomed to sourcing internationally.
- Type of partner sought: The dimensions and shapes of the backrests, seats and shells are described in the attached technical specifications.
Backrests and seats should be made from 8 mm thick beech plywood. Shells should be made from 10 mm thick beech plywood.
The volume of annual orders will be approximately :
- 20,000 pieces for backrests and seats,
- 10,000 pieces for shells.
The estimated order frequency is every six months.
The varnish applied on wooden parts should be water-based.
- Specific area of activity of the partner: The expected partner should be an industrial manufacturer in wood working able to produce the specific wooden parts out of beech plywood and corresponding to the technical specifications transmitted by the French SME.
The respect of delivery deadlines is a crucial criterion for the French SME.
A long term partner is sought in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania or Ukraine under a subcontracting agreement.
The subcontractor will take advantage from the very good reputation of the French manufacturer, well established in France and known internationally thanks to its presence in many countries.
The French company is financially reliable and its clients come from the public sector with legally binding contracts.
