This French SME is specialised in POS display (point of sales furniture) design.
They are proposing their customers displays, counter displays, furniture that are designed for watches, sunglasses, socks, shoes, board shorts, sticks and accessories.
They are proposing different raw material solutions such as wood, carton and glass.
They are well introduced in the surf wear industry and are well-known in the store refurbishment sector.
They also work with the sport activities related stores.
As regards providers they are already working at international level. Asides from furniture bought in France they are currently buying raw materials and services in Italy, Spain and other countries.
As some markets are very hard to achieve they would like to improve their competitiveness by finding new manufacturers with better quality/price ratio from the following countries : Poland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Czech Republic, Latvia, Portugal and Italy.
They would like to work on a subcontracting agreement basis.
The company would design the product and would prepare all the production data to the partner. The partner would then proceed with the production itself and keep an eye out for quality and delay compliance.
- Type of partner sought: The partner sought must be able to work raw materials like wood, carton and glass.
- Specific area of activity of the partner: The partner would be proposed a subcontracting collaboration.
The company would set up a new design for his customer. The company would then ask a quote to the patrner and other 2 ones.
The estimate would then be completed and given to the final customer.
If the contract is achieved then the company would assign the manufacturing part to the partner sought.
Each project is specific and long-term relationship is based on mutual confidence and on quality, price and delay compliance.
The partner is expected to be able to manufacture a complete product (mixing different raw materials), even by using external resources to achieve this goal.
The company has relevant access to markets. The partner should therefore be sure to have quote requests.
The company is trying to rely on long-term relationships with the subcontractors. It believes it impacts the regular quality of their production and therefore strengthens their reputation over customers.
