The medium-sized craft company is located in Saxony and exits since 2004. The joinery currently employs 14 people and is specialised in interior fittings for museums and galleries.
The company is looking for a subcontractor of approximately the same size for manufacturing and assembly in the area of exhibition construction/trade fair construction. Experience in the use of CNC manufacturing and proficient use of CAD software is required.
The joinery from Saxony is a family business and has been on the market for over 70 years. The current owner is the 3rd generation to run the joinery and took it over from his father in 2013. Since then, the joinery has developed into a modern interior design company.
The range of services extends from exhibition and trade fair construction to high-quality interior fittings and individual one-off pieces. The 14 employees are well qualified to competently realise projects of any size using modern CAD and CNC technology.
The company already has extensive experience in cross-border business transactions, and has already successfully completed renowned projects for instance in Switzerland and Norway.
The sector of projects for which we are looking for a partner is exclusively the exhibition and museum construction.
The cooperation within the subcontracting partnership should work as follows: the plans for the projects will be provided by the joinery. The production of the complete kits must be carried out by the subcontractor using CNC technology. Ideally, the subcontractor should then also independently assemble or partially assemble the manufactured kits at the client's premises.
- Type of partner sought: The Subcontractor must have the following equipment or know-how:
surface coating (lacquering work),
CAD software for data exchange and experience in using it
- Specific area of activity of the partner: The German company is looking for a subcontractor who can independently manufacture assemblies already planned with CAD software in a sub-contracting relationship.
The partner should be an SME from the craft sector (carpentry) and sought for the independent processing of production orders for components in the field of interior fittings and their independent assembly at the main client's premises.
Needed is the sufficient experience to meet the high quality expectations of the mostly public clients. He must be able to carry out the demanding orders on his own responsibility.
Existing experience in the cross-border deployment of employees would be desirable.
