A technological company in Spain has designed a device for underwater inspection of works and certified inspections of ships. The device is able to register and store both the audio and image. Full description

The company has extensive experience in the development of inspections and decided to development a device based on Video IP technology with a Technologic Center. It is capable of displaying up to 4 cameras simultaneously. The device consists of a briefcase equipped with a computer, it has a 4 cores microprocessor with 4 GB RAM and can process all information from the cameras. With 19" monitor which represents this information, an umbilical which all signals are transmitted including video, audio and power to and from the cameras and cameras to collect images that are connected to the masks of divers. The cameras used in this project are Full-HD technology to get the quality required for this type of work.
The device enables real-time communications diver-surface and surface-diver, being both registered with the video images. It is a solution based on IP technology, video, sound and data communications travel multiplexed on the same cable so interferences are avoided.
