A romanian company has developed a process to obtain ashes of cake of alum, that contains minimum 22,0% aluminium, and that is dissolved very quickly in water. The technical problem solved by the technical solution is that he result of this method is cake of alum, with normal specific weight, that is dissolved very quickly in water. The product can be used for water purifying, and also in cellulose and paper industry, textile, leather and chemical industry.

The advanages obtained by using this method are:
- the result is a product with high concentration of active aluminium (22-23%);
- the solution has a normal specific weight (0.8-1.0 kg/dm3);
- the product resulted has a high solubility in water.
