The system should be fast and cheap without having to move animals to a traditional scale. They are looking for a license, technical cooperation or commercial agreement with technical assistance with a research centre, university or industrial partner.

The pig production industry faces nowadays the problem of adjustment of individual weight of pigs to meet the increasing requirements of the pork processing industry. The weight must be adjusted to a predetermined weight range in order to avoid price penalties. The Federation of Cooperatives is looking for a reliable, practical and fast method to determine the weight of individual animals to save time and reduce cost.

Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The system should be easy to implant in the farm and to be used by the farmer. The measurement should be fast and reliable, within a narrow margin of error.
One possible method could be based on the determination of weight from the dimensions of the pig through a data processing method.
A weight average of all animals is not desired. The system should provide the weight of each single animal.
