The Ninth International Conference on Artificial Immune Systems will be held on from 26-28 July 2010 in Edinburgh, UK.

Artificial immune systems (AIS) is a diverse and maturing area of research that bridges the disciplines of immunology and engineering. The scope of AIS ranges from modelling and simulation of the immune system to immune-inspired algorithms and engineering solutions.

The event aims to build on the success of previous editions by providing a forum for researchers in academia and industry to present and discuss the latest advances. In addition to peer-reviewed papers, the conference programme will feature a range of plenary lectures and tutorials.

A workshop on 'biologically-inspired pervasive adaptation' will be held as part of the conference. The session will be sponsored by the EU-funded Proactive initiative on pervasive adaptation (Perada). The project targets technologies and design paradigms for pervasive information and communication systems, which are capable of autonomously adapting in dynamic environments.

Venue: Edinburgh, UK
