FP7 ICT Information Day

Enterprise Europe Scotland, in partnership with Scotland Europa, provides a dedicated service to support all Scottish organisations in making the most of European Research and Technological Development opportunities available in Framework Programme 7 (FP7)
 
The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) theme has been allocated more than €9.1b of a €53b budget over a 6 year period, with upcoming calls for proposals due out in July 2010.
 
This year, key topics are likely to include:
 

 

  • Pervasive and trusted network and service infrastructures
  • Cognitive Systems and Robotics
  • Alternative Paths to Components and Systems
  • Technologies for Digital Content and Languages
  • ICT for Health, Ageing Well, Inclusion and Governance
  • ICT for a low carbon economy
  • ICT for the Enterprise and Manufacturing
  • ICT for Learning and Access to Cultural Resources

 

 
This workshop has been designed to help companies working in these and other areas of the ICT sector to get the inside track on FP7 opportunities before the official announcement of calls this Summer.
 
The workshop will be led by experts, including the National Contact Point for ICT, who will provide an overview of the call content and provide top tips on how to engage in FP7.
 
Delegates will also have the opportunity to network and take advantage of signposting opportunities from support providers to help explore their projects.
